Visiting Pivotal Labs

Yesterday Thijs and I visited Pivotal Labs at their NYC office, following up on Ian McFarland's open invitation. Ian had a great talk at RailsConf about how Pivotal works, and we wanted to dig a bit deeper into it and have a look at their "pairing stations" (yes, they pair program).

Josh Knowles was really helpful in explaining how Pivotal works, and how they solve specific issues that may come into play when pair programming. We got some new insights in how their company handles things, and we will adapt some of the things we discussed.
