The Monday before, June 29, there are a bunch of side-events. We will be attending the Amsterdam.rb Ruby BarCamp, taking place at Escape (Rembrandtplein) from 12.30pm to 6pm. There’s no admission, also if you’re not attending the conference, but you do need to register.

Since we know listening to all this cool Ruby chatter will make your thirsty, we’re the official Amsterdam.rb BarCamp drinks sponsor. The venue is sponsored by
Rock & Code & Wes Oldenbeuving (thanks guys).

The result is “DNews Fernsehen“, which uses “our” front-end (and probably back-end to a large extent too).
Joris & the rest of the team, good luck with the German website!

FINALLY! We have moved our office to the Vijzelstraat (even more in the city center than our previous office), which took way more time and trouble than we expected. The major bottleneck for us not being easy to get a hold of was KPN (Dutch phone provider), who messed up moving our line. I truly wonder wether the guys & girls at KPN ever perform such a move without massive problems (as in, playing the “the number you are trying to reach does not exist”-tape whenever you tried calling us).

We’re still busy with the finishing touch (setting up a wired network, waiting for our new fridge to arrive, ordering a meeting table, etc), but it’s workable now. Our phone is up again and so is our internet connection. Somewhere in the next month we’ll be switching to VOIP (voice over IP) for our phone line, lets hope the number portation goes smooth.

One of the best things, as expressed by our visitors: the new coffee machine! No more Senseo, but freshly grinded coffee beans to serve regular coffee, cappuchino, etc. Drop in if you want to give it a try.

Ouch… it’s been quite a while since we posted some new items on our website. Not because we have no news (the contrary is true), but mainly because we’re very busy working on our own products, stuff for our clients and planning the move to our new office (we will be moving to the Vijzelstraat (still in the center of Amsterdam) somewhere in June). Besides that we’re also working on a new logo, which takes up some of our precious time too.

We promise to post some more once the move is over and the site has had a redesign!
